Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information BEYOND Project ("BEYOND", "we", "us") collects when you visit this website or attend our events, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

• Ticket information. When you buy a ticket on this website, we collect your name and email address to issue it. When you register on Luma, Luma collects your name, email address, phone number (if requested) and your answers to registration questions, and shares them with us as the event organiser.
• Payments. Payments on this website are processed by Stripe; payments on Luma by Luma and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
• Messages you send us. If you email us or message us on social media, we keep that conversation so we can help you.
• Event check-in. We record when your ticket is scanned at the door.
• Photos and video. Our events are photographed and filmed, and you may appear in that content (see our Terms of Service).
• Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability.

2. How we use it

• To issue tickets, manage guest lists and run check-in.
• To contact you about an event you've registered for, including changes or cancellations.
• To send you news about upcoming events, if you've agreed to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
• To keep our events and website safe and to meet legal obligations.
• To promote BEYOND using photos and videos taken at our events.
• To measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

• Luma, which provides ticketing and check-in (Luma's privacy policy).
• Meta Platforms, for measuring our Facebook and Instagram advertising (see section 4).
• PostHog, for website analytics (see section 4).
• Stripe, which processes card and other payments (Stripe's privacy policy).
• Venue partners, only where they need a guest list to let you in.
• Service providers that host our website and email, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

4. Cookies, advertising and measurement

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. They record things like the pages you view, the event you look at, when you start checkout and when you buy a ticket, and use cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) to connect those actions to an ad you may have seen. When you buy a ticket, we send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email, name and phone number, plus your IP address and browser type, so the sale can be matched to the ad. Meta does not receive your card details. See Meta's Privacy Policy. You can control ad personalisation in your Facebook/Instagram ad settings, or block these cookies in your browser.

We also use PostHog to understand how people use the site (pages visited, buttons clicked, and completed purchases), so we can improve it. PostHog sets its own cookie to recognise a returning browser. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.

The site also saves your language choice in your browser's local storage. Links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Luma take you to services with their own privacy policies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep guest information for as long as needed to run events and meet accounting and legal requirements, and then delete or anonymise it.

6. International transfers

We run events in several countries across Asia, and our service providers may store data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' safeguards to protect it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under Thailand's PDPA, Singapore's PDPA, Malaysia's PDPA, Taiwan's PDPA or the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to marketing. To make a request, email support@beyondproject.co and we'll respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Our events are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under the legal drinking age of the event's location.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
